Easy Homemade Chocolate Truffles





3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 Tablespoonful vanilla or almond extract
Cocoa powder (optional)
Chocolate sprinkles (optional)

In a heavy saucepan on low heat, melt butter. Add cocoa powder and stir until blended. Mix in sweetened condensed milk. Stir until thick and shiny - around 4 minutes or so.

Remove from heat and stir in the extract. Chill around 3-4 hours. When cool shape into balls. You may roll the balls into either the cocoa powder or chocolate sprinkles for an extra chocolate kick.

Chill 1-2 hours and keep refrigerated until ready to enjoy!

Bahan-bahan Coklat Rose Comel Mudah dan Sedap

Anggaran 15 biji sehingga 20 biji
1 bar coklat masakan putih
1 bar coklat masakan biasa (hitam)
1 sudu kecil pewarna merah jambu
1 sudu kecil perisa strawberry
1 sudu susu cair
2 sudu besar crisco/minyak jagung
bakar badam hancur sehingga kekuningan

Cara-cara Membuat Coklat Rose Comel

A) Lapisan atas coklat rose


Pertama, masukkan coklat putih ke dalam bekas adunan.

Langkah kedua nak buat coklat, gaul crisco, pewarna pink & rose hingga sebati dan menyelerakan!

Ketiga, masukkan adunan dah siap tadi ke dalam acuan yang telah disediakan.

Yeay!! Sudah siap lapisan atas coklat rose. Nextttttt, kita buat langkah untuk coklat lapisan bawah pula ye.

B) Lapisan Bawah Coklat Rose


1. Cairkan coklat putih dengan kaedah double boil. Campurkan 1 sudu crisco/minyak jagung ke dalamnya berserta 1/2 sudu perasa strawberry dan 1/2 sudu pewarna merah jambu.Kacau hingga sebati dan cair.

2.Angkat dan masukkan kedalam acuan coklat berbentuk mawar sehingga 1/4 penuh dan biarkan keras didalam peti sejuk.

3. Cairkan coklat hitam seperti kaedah 1. masukkan 1 sudu susu cair dan badam hancur yang telah dibakar.
4. Keluarkan coklat dari peti sejuk. Tuang coklat hitam ke dalam acuan sehingga penuh. Sentiasa letakkan coklat ini dalam peti sejuk sehinggalah tiba masa untuk dihidangkan.

250 gm coklat masakan
2 sudu besar mentega
4 sudu besar susu pekat
350 gm gula aising
50 gm kacang hazel(panggang dan hancurkan)
50 gm kismis

Cara menyediakan:

1. Cairkan coklat masakan dengan mentega dan susu pekat.
2. Angkat dan masukkan gula aising dan kacau sehingga sebati.
3. Masukkan kacang hazel dan kismis, kacau rata.
4. Tuang kedalam loyang dan tekan.
5. Simpan dalam peti sejuk sehingga keras.

How To Make Homemade Chocolate Whoopie Pies

The making of Whoopie Pies has been a Pennsylvania tradition for many years and is prevalent in the Amish and Mennonite communities. If you have never tried a homemade Whoopie Pie, you are really missing out.

What is a Whoopie Pie you might ask? Basically, it is two round mounds of chocolate cake and sandwiched in between those cakes, is some delicious creamy vanilla frosting.

The following recipe was given to me back in the late 1980's by a local Mennonite woman and to this day, its our favorite recipe.


Chocolate Whoopie Pies

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup powdered cocoa
1/2 teaspoon table salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 lb. butter, softened (divided)
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract (divided)
3/4 cup cold milk
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
1 cup marshmallow creme

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder and baking soda; set aside. In another large bowl, combine the softened 1/4 pound of butter and granulated sugar. Using an electric mixer, beat until smooth and creamy. Stir in the 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract; beat for an additional 30 seconds. Stir in the flour mixture and beat again until all ingredients are combined.

Drop by large rounded tablespoons onto an ungreased baking sheet, about 4" apart. Using a spoon, spread each mound of batter to form a circle, approximately 2 1/2" in diameter. Bake in the oven for approximately 10 minutes or until the mini cakes spring back when touched.

While your mini cakes are baking, in a large bowl beat the remaining 1/4 pound of butter, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and confectioner's sugar until smooth and creamy. Beat in the marshmallow creme until the filling is light and fluffy.

Once your mini cakes have cooled, spread the filling on half of the cakes and then top with an unfilled half. (like a sandwich cookie.) Store your homemade treats in an airtight canister.
